  Opportunities For Involvement


Priority Associates is a place not only to learn but a place to grow.  We provide the venues to assist each other in areas of personal growth through prayer, leadership development, service projects and worship.
  

Prayer
Prayer is fundamental to uniting us with God. Through adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication, we experience the fullness of God’s love. Priority Associates is committed to prayer, for individuals, our leaders, our ministries, our workplaces, neighborhoods and New York. In addition to small group prayer teams, we conduct 24 hour prayer chains and innovative prayer walks ask for God’s will for New York and its people.

We welcome the opportunity to pray for you or to help you pray for those you care for.

Leadership Development
Priority Associates is committed to equipping and empowering professionals to impact the communities in which the live and work. Small group training, one-on-one mentoring as well as speaker series, retreats and conferences are designed to develop character and leadership skills. We address basics such as sharing our faith, the role of prayer, community, discipleship, small group dynamics and living a spirit-filled life.

Our leadership team meets monthly to sharpen our skills, encourage and minister to each other and strengthen fellowship.

Community Service Projects
Caring for others is a critical to building our relationship with Christ. Through community service projects, we can care for the needy in our neighborhoods and the city. Past community service projects have included:

Annual Thanksgiving Pie Bake We baked 150 apple pies that were distributed to families in need over the holidays. No culinary skills were required. People joined the assembly line and shared the fun!

Valentines Community Service Project Young professionals packed The Space to assemble heart-shaped floral wreaths and home-made Valentines Day cards which were delivered personally to local AIDS patients.

Knit'N'Tea A Sunday afternoon tea included an introduction to knitting. Those who attended took their knitting projects home and by the end of the week nearly fifty wool hats were completed which were mailed to Romanian orphans for Christmas.

Worship
We are served by God through worship. He fills us with the joy of knowing we are loved, restores our courage through forgiveness, provides the Word for hungry hearts, and fills us with the bread and wine of new life in Christ, giving us new purpose to our lives.

Heart is the center of the whole person, the core of personal character, the wellspring of our thoughts, emotions, will, intuition, and imagination.
