What’s available for Artists and Creative Professionals?

The Haven

The Haven is a community of artistically-minded individuals desiring to encourage and equip each other to
influence the culture for Christ.  Actors, musicians, dancers, writers, producers, and other creative professionals
gather each week to worship God together, discuss the integration of faith and art, and spur one another toward
excellence.  Its members are involved in the development of Bible studies, worship music, and even creative
collaborations as entertainment forums, "Open Mic Nights," short films, and their own variety show.

The Haven meets every Monday from 7-9pm at Anderson Hall on 22nd Street between Lexington and Park Avenue
for worship, praise, Bible study and fellowship.

The Haven also offers monthly seminars taught by its members, and sponsors community service opportunities,
including worship at the Salvation Army Veterans Shelter and Crown Ministries Transitional Shelter, baking
Thanksgiving pies for the poor, providing meals for the homeless, visiting AIDS patients, and even knitting hats
for orphans!

Paradox: God in Fashion?

Paradox is a ministry of Priority Associates reaching out to the fashion industry in New York City and those
traveling to Manhattan from other cities around the world.  This dynamic ministry seeks to honor God by giving
every fashion professional the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel as we resource, equip and network
Christians in the fashion marketplace. The influence of PARADOX in the fashion industry has been widely noted
in articles in leading publications, such as the New York Times and Details Magazine.

We believe God is raising an international community of believers in every fashion capitol of the world including
Miami, Paris, Milan, London and Tokyo.  Over the past 20 years, we have been developing a counter cultural
phenomenon in the fashion industry by developing spiritual leaders who are dedicated to serving Christ through
their profession.

Every Tuesday night in the heart of midtown Manhattan, professionals from all facets of the fashion industry
gather to share common ground and look to God as the source of their total supply.  Testimonials and small
groups provide attendees with the opportunity to look to God’s word jointly for direction in inspiration in their
lives and careers and share common experiences of the trade and of life in fashion.

The first Tuesday of each month, is dedicated to outreach in the fashion community.  A guest speaker is invited
to share their testimony, a wonderful dinner is prepared, and attendees of PARADOX are encoura
