Getting involved at the city level, is by far the best way to plug into this dynamic network of marketplace professionals. This is where you will really experience community and growth. There are many opportunities to plug in including:

  • Large Group Events
  • Small Group Discussions
  • Personal Interactions
  • Leadership Training
  

Chicago Workplace Ministry Network
The "Chicago Workplace Ministry Network" is a loose fellowship of leaders and primarily involves sharing of information (vision, contacts, event schedules), prayer, encouragement and ad-hoc joint initiatives.

The group has no agenda as such, just a commitment to mutual ministry to the workplace in the Chicago loop and surrounding area.

We meet for 90 minutes every six to eight weeks in a conference room in the Sears Tower. 



  

The Christian Business Men's Committee
The format typically includes about 35 min. of eating, networking, etc., and then a guest speaker who shares (for about 25 min.) how Christ has played a role in his or her professional life.

The luncheon is open to all (male, female, believer, seeker, or other). By design, it is our hope that believers will eventually invite friends family or business colleagues so that they may hear the "Good News."

The lunch is free for first time guests. 



  

POWERPLAYERS8
POWERPLAYERS8 is the 8-week seminar that guides people step-by-step through self-assessment, industry analysis, keys to your personal mission, values awareness, job search strategies, and principles for integrating faith and work.

Participants complete the seminar with a Personal Career Strategy they can use for future job changes.  



  

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
We have MBA ministries and others with law, medicine, etc.
